On the official and unofficial versions of your transcript you will see letters beside some of your courses.
The letters are used to designate different categories of classes, such as writing intensive or math proficiency courses that are needed to meet general education requirements, or service learning or honors classes that indicate a different type or level of work than is ordinarily required.
