General Education

All undergraduate students graduating from MU, regardless of which degree they earn, are required to complete a group of courses that provide the wide foundation needed to be well-educated citizens.

These courses, taken as a whole, help the student think and communicate clearly about current local and international issues of importance, and to understand the cultural, historical and scientific frameworks that shape those issues and our perception of them. For specifics, see General Education Requirements.
